Making A Purchase
Products that can be purchased online have a buy button.
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
For online purchases, we accept card payments (Visa & Mastercard).
If you do not wish to pay online, phone us - we can provide you with our bank details for direct payment.
If you have made a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping cart, contact us and we will correct the mistake.
When you receive confirmation of your order, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us.
We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
All the prices on the site are in UK £ (pounds sterling) and inclusive of VAT at 20%.
We use iZettle to process online card payments.
They provide a highly secure service which includes Verified by Visa and Mastercard SecureCode.
They are 100% PCI DSS Level 1 compliant.
We are currently operating a 'click and collect' service. Once we receive your order and payment, we will contact you (by email or text) to let you know when to collect your order.
For the safety of our staff and customers, customers are not allowed on the premises but will be able to collect their order at the gate.
For larger local orders, we are able to provide a delivery service - please contact us by phone on 01369 703319 before placing your order.
We aim to satisfy our customers expectations, but know that sometimes problems can occur when purchasing online without the option of seeing the product.
Wood is a wonderful material, full of fabulous colours and markings and with many variations in texture. It is also prone to 'moving and twisting' depending on the conditions it is used in. To us, these properties mean that each item we make is totally unique and interesting.
We cannot guarantee that every surface will be flat or every corner square, but every item is full of character.
At Fynewood we comply with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, to encourage our customers to purchase from us in a secure online environment, when they don't have the option to examine the goods before placing an order.
You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 14 working days for a full refund including the cost of standard delivery. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days.
You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value.
Any goods returned should be in saleable condition or we may deduct a charge to cover the loss in value from your refund.
Bespoke, customised or personalized items cannot be returned.
This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.
These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.
